History

The Ege University Lodgings, which have been available to the administrative and academic employees of our university since the 1960s, were built on a plot of land measuring 13608 m2 near the Izmir-Manisa road junction, just across from the campus entrance, and consist of 146 units in total.

On 15.05.1960, Prime Minister Adnan Menderes laid the foundations for the residences.
